Complete Comfort Air Conditioning and Heating had the pleasure of taking a Lennox Factory Tour Marshalltown, Iowa. Lennox Industries manufacturing plant in Marshalltown, Iowa. What an awesome experience it was. We learned the history of Lennox and their family heritage of over 120 years of manufacturing in Marshalltown. David Lennox, founded Lennox Manufacturing Company in 1895. This plant facility has been operating there since. We were proud to see American innovation and quality products still being produced in our Nation’s heartland. Lennox began production of their riveted coal furnaces and other stove products back in early 1900s.
More product lines like Kitty Track, Prairie Schooner, and Cropmaster were produced here as well. At the time of WWII, the Lennox factory was re-tooled for the aid in tank and plane manufacturing for the war. Today this plant manufactures Elite air conditioners, heat pumps and gas furnace product lines. The level of quality is second to none. Their product testing and quality control processes were demonstrated and provided us the assurance of quality in their brand. All units are thoroughly inspected and fully tested before each is delivered to you. Most of these components are tripled tested. Seeing the coil manufacturing process, sheet metal and other components produced was interesting.
